                                        WHAT WE DO ~ OUR MISSION

We are a group of ARTISTS and ANGEL HELPERS who are volunteers and

use our talents to create murals and paintings in HOSPITAL PEDIATRIC ER’s, SCHOOLS, CHILDREN’S LIBRARIES, INSTITUTIONS & ASSISTED LIVING HOMES. 

Our mission is to wipe out the white drab walls and replace them with BEAUTIFUL, EMOTIONALLY HEALING AND JOYOUS MURALS, using art to distract the children while they go through frightening medical procedures.  Our art work includes painting cheerful ceiling tiles as they look up from their beds.

                                           HOW WE GOT STARTED

In 2004 as a volunteer artist, I was asked to place my 8 ft. Panda

painting in a hospital here in NYC.   I connected with MT. SINAI MEDICAL

CENTER through my good friends JUDY COLE, KARL SCHROEDER &

DR. ILENE WILETS.  The Panda did not fit on their wall and was installed

in NYC'S PS 124 in Chinatown.  While walking through the PED/ER I had a vision to paint murals with different themes for every room.  With contributions of paints & 3 more volunteers I painted a "Beach" mural.  More rooms and volunteers followed.  To fill the need to "wipe out the white walls" in New York, New Jersey, the surrounding areas and now Canada,  I  formed  DidiArt Angels.
