                                           WHAT WE DO ~ OUR MISSION

           DidiArt Angels is a non-profit Volunteer Artists Organization with a

                                         TAX EXEMPT 501(C)3 STATUS. 

We are a group of VOLUNTEER ARTISTS and ANGEL HELPERS who use our talents to create murals and paintings in HOSPITAL PEDIATRIC ER’s, SCHOOLS, CHILDREN’S LIBRARIES, INSTITUTIONS, ASSISTED LIVING, SENIOR HOMES and the DA’s CRIMES AGAINST CHILDREN BUREAU. 

Our mission is to wipe out the white drab walls and replace them with BEAUTIFUL, HEALING JOYOUS MURALS, using art to distract the children/patients/seniors/disabled and crime victims while they go through different procedures.  Our art work includes painting cheerful ceiling tiles in medical facilities. Our volunteer staff includes  Consulting Psychologist, Dr. Jill Thistlethwaite who guides our art work subject matter.

                                               HOW WE GOT STARTED

In 2004 as a volunteer artist, I connected with MT. SINAI MEDICAL

CENTER through good friends JUDY COLE, KARL SCHROEDER &

Mt. Sinai’s own DR. ILENE WILETS. 

That same year I painted an 8 foot Panda which was installed in NYC'S PS 124 in Chinatown.  While walking through the Mt. Sinai PED/ER I had a vision to paint murals with different themes for every room.  With contributions of paints & 3 volunteers we painted a "Beach" mural.  More rooms and volunteers followed.  To fill the need to "wipe out the white walls" in New York, New Jersey, the surrounding areas and now Canada,  I  formed  DidiArt Angels.
